EDITORIAL POLICY

Editorial Policy

FinanceTools.io publishes educational tools and content to help you understand financial questions. This policy describes how that content is produced, reviewed and corrected.

Purpose

Our tools and articles are educational estimates designed to help you understand a financial question and its variables. They are never personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

How content is produced

Content is based on the site's own calculations and on documented methods. Before publication, it is reviewed for accuracy against the tool's actual behavior, so the words and the math agree.

Corrections

Errors are fixed promptly. Notable corrections are recorded in the changelog. If a formula or a stated fact changes in a meaningful way, the affected tool's methodology section — including its "Method reviewed" date — is updated at the same time.

Sources

Where content references external material, we rely on official documentation, public APIs and recognized standards — for example, GIPS for portfolio performance calculations. We do not fabricate data or invent sources.

Independence & monetization

Some outbound links are affiliate links, and we disclose them. Affiliate relationships never affect our calculations, market data, rankings, results or editorial judgment.

Feedback

If you spot an error or have a suggestion, use the feedback box available within each tool, or contact us at contato@santorellistudio.com.
