FinanceTools.io provides free financial calculators, market tools and educational content. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. It applies to financetools.io in all available languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese).

Who we are

FinanceTools.io is an independent project operated by Santorelli Studio (ED Santorelli Gráfica e Editora ME) that provides free financial calculators, market tools and educational content. It is not financial advice: tools and content are informational and educational estimates only.

Data we collect (first-party, pseudonymous)

We use first-party analytics that sends anonymous usage data to our own server. This includes:

• A randomly generated visitor id and session id, stored in your browser.
• The pages you view.
• Your language.
• Device type (mobile, tablet or desktop).
• Referrer host.
• UTM campaign parameters.
• Screen width.

When you click a provider or partner link, we may record which partner, which placement and which referral id was used. We honour the Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we do not track you.

Information you provide voluntarily

The optional feedback form lets you send us a suggestion. The email field is optional and is used only to respond to you. We recommend that you do not include sensitive or financial data in your messages.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies ourselves. We use browser local storage and session storage, not cookies, for:

• Your language preference.
• Anonymous analytics ids.
• A short buffer of click attribution events, capped at 200 and kept on your device.
• Any manual wallet or transfer settings you enter in the Arbitrage Scanner, stored only on your device and never sent to us.

You can clear all of these at any time in your browser settings.

Third-party links & affiliate disclosure

Some links point to partners: exchanges such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin, Bitget and MEXC, plus TradingView, Quantfury and other platforms. Clicking them takes you to their site, which sets its own cookies and has its own privacy policy. We may receive referral attribution. We disclose affiliate relationships, and they never affect our calculations or rankings.

Advertising / Google AdSense

We may serve advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, including the Google advertising cookie and the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings and at aboutads.info/youronlinechoices. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised advertising is shown (consent management).

Data we do NOT collect

• No accounts.
• No passwords.
• No payment data.
• No precise location.
• No raw IP addresses stored by design — analytics is pseudonymous.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us (see Contact below).

Retention

Analytics and event data are kept for a limited period for aggregate analysis. We do not sell your data.

Security

We use HTTPS and keep private configuration and analytics data outside the public web root.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date below will change.
